TIERRA is the name of the ceramic sculpture exhibition that is on display at CARRASCO gallery, in Madrid, until January 29, 2022.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 2 pm to 8 pm.

Nature will take over, anyway. At least, this is the motto of the TIERRA exhibition.

When humans transgride natural equilibrium and the ecosystems, natures takes charge and reacts. Not often establishing a chain reaction to the human aggression perpetuated to the environment. And without need to start/react on the exact place of aggression nor even on same strength answer, too. What is guaranteed for sure is the reaction and furthermore the regeneration process associated, afterwards.

The artworks exhibited in TIERRA show a curated group of pieces organised in 3 main circles or areas of discussion: destruction / permanence / reborn. They are shown in 3 different rooms in circle sequence and the size range from small to big artworks and installation pieces.

The Ana+Betânia artworks, translate their full conceptual value to an exquisite, delicate and highly technical pamphleteer approach through ceramic sculpture.

Their technical and conceptual 3D vision is expressed from small flowers to bombs. Desirable weapons and massive freeze explosions punctuated with small gold touches as highlight confettis, just like an ice cream full of flavours and toppings on a summer day.”
